It's pretty hard to be consistent. Everybody agrees with it. Everybody does, because each person would feel or experience a persist situation. Meanwhile, to be consistent is a key to reach your success.
We can see how many people have failed because of inconsistency. In other side, we also see that it's just a few people who have been able to keep their consistency in order to gain their success. Deep in our mind, we're gonna think, "Yeah! Just a few people got their luck."
Such permissive mind - involuntary - kills our way to be consistent. Actually, we can keep our consistency anytime - in any situation.
So, never give up!
The key to keep consistency on track, is "control." Many people have forgotten it. For the example: you want to stop your alcohol addiction. You agree with your doctor statement that it can kill you. So, you tried to do every suggestion of him/her. But, someday you lose your control to stop your alcoholism, when your friends in a party offered martini - a drink you loved very much. In result, you again became an alcoholic. You're often trapped in the identic situation, until you lose your trust to your capability. Then, you've given up. It's left your will only.
Whereas, if you didn't take the offer of your friends that day; or even if you didn't come to the party, you've perhaps been a free alcohol man today. (You think about it too maybe.) That's what I mean as "control." It means:
When you have to reject or deny something, you must do it.
and
When you have to execute something, you must do it.
All of those are for your own good, for the result you've dreamt. When you can take the action for both terms, you'll succeed to control yourself. Control itself will be useful for everyside of your life, including business. At last, you will tell that you are consistent. And..., It's not about the result only.
